Brain Injury can happen to anyone...

The Dodd Foundation was established in 2008 by Megan Dodd and concerned supporters in order to fulfill a tremendously growing need in the community to offer quality resources and support for families and sufferers of severely debilitating disabilities such as Acquired Brian Injury (ABI).

The Dodd Foundation aims to aid these families during what can be the worst periods of people's lives, by offering a range of tools and resources. But most importantly, The Dodd Foundation wants families to understand that you are not alone, there are people here to help, love and support you through this trying time.

The main premises of The Dodd Foundation are:

  • Dignified Accommodation

  • Meaningful Support

  • Quality Education

The Dodd Foundation has only just begun and there are seemingly insurmountable challenges ahead to make life, however simple or complex, easier for these troubled and vastly burdened families. But no challenge is to great and no hurdle too high for the committed people behind one of Australia's newest and most enthusiastic charities.

"Together we will make the changes needed to ensure our loved ones receive all the resources, quality of life, respect and dignity that all Australian's certainly deserve. That's what The Dodd Foundation is all about!" Megan Dodd, Founder of The Dodd Foundation and wife of ABI sufferer Paul Dodd.
