What

What do we do at The Dodd Foundation?

We aim to provide:

Dignified Accommodation

The Dodd Foundation's aim is for sufferers to have access to age appropriate, medically appropriate and dignified family oriented facilities for them to live in. The Dodd Foundation aims to source these facilities by engaging in joint ventures with other concerned businesses, not-for-profits and government agencies.

Meaningful Support

The aim is for families and sufferers to gain knowledge and strength through support groups, counselling, advocacy, lobbying and access relevant and much needed resources at such a difficult time.

Quality Education

The best cure for ABI is prevention, therefore The Dodd Foundation aims to educate all young travellers of the risk of overseas buildings, activities and facilities in the hope that we can decrease the number of young Australians returning from overseas with severe ABI. The Dodd Foundation also wishes to educate the wider Australian public about the major risks for ABI domestically and how being informed is the best prevention.
